Canadian blogger snaps up Kate Middleton domain name

As the countdown to the Royal Wedding continues, a Canadian blogger has snapped up the rights to www.KateMiddleton.com.

Greg Kureluk, along with a couple of associates, has secured the domain name, and believes the address could become the future URL for all matters relating to the future Queen of England.

A website has been launched using the domain name and will provide up-to-the-minute information on the future Royal, who marries second-in-line to the throne Prince William on Friday, April 29, at Westminster Abbey in London.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide information on Kate, the wedding, and the influence she will have on a generation of young ladies,” said Kureluk. “It is exciting that through our website, www.KateMiddleton.com, we can provide relevant, respectful information and connect with others around the world who also enjoy the Royals.”

Kureluk claims that tens of thousands of Internet users have visited the domain since the site went live last week.

Last week, the Daily Mail reported that Kate Middleton’s family has secured rights to pippamiddleton.com and jamesmiddleton.com -– domain names relating to the future princess’s siblings.
