All Egyptian government agencies, including the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the Egyptian Trademark Office and Patent Office have resumed work. CSC is now able to process domain name registrations, renewal, transfer or modification requests for .EG domain names.
For those clients who have been participating in the Sunrise launch of the Arabic version of the .EG domain name extension, CSC does not know whether additional Sunrise applications will be accepted by NTRA, the .EG registry, and we are awaiting further information.
