Singapore registry accepting applications for premium domain names

The Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC), registry for the .sg ccTLD, has announced plans to release a select group of premium domain names.

The application period for these names began on July 2, 2012, and continues until July 31, 2012. The names are not being offered on a first come, first served basis; instead, multiple applications for the same name will result in an auction for that name.

A fully registered and matching trademark from Singapore for the requested premium domain name will be required.
