New Launch Phase Available for .KE
The KeNIC Registry added a Grandfather Phase to their launch of top-level .KE (Kenya) registrations. Registrants who have a third-level .KE domain will be able to register similar domain names in the second level (businessname.co.ke can apply for businessname.ke in this phase). This phase will run through December 22, 2017. General Availability will begin on December 23, 2017. Please contact your Client Service Partner for more information.
Unpacking .Storage
XYZ Registry has taken over management of .storage and plans to relaunch the TLD on November 7, 2017. The launch will start with a Landrush Phase for Trademark holders. General Availability will begin on November 28, 2017. Unlike the previous launch of this TLD, there will be no restrictions this time. The TLD will be available for registration to the general public, regardless of connection to the storage industry. The registry will also not be categorizing popular domain names as “premium”, including generic terms. If you have questions, please contact your Client Service Partner.
