Writers.net domain name sold to forum network

The domain name Writers.net has been purchased by forum community network CrowdGather, it has been revealed.

All related business assets for the content directory, which was created in 1994, have also been acquired by the new domain name owner.

Writers.net founder Stephan Spencer — widely regarded as one of the world’s top search engine optimization experts — is now set to join the CrowdGather Advisory Board following the domain name sale.

Sanjay Sabnani, CrowdGather’s chairman and chief executive, explained that Mr. Spencer has helped develop many of the innovative techniques and SEO strategies currently in use.

“We are very excited to have Stephan on our team, as he continues to make significant contributions to the industry as one of CrowdGather’s advisors,” he stated.

CrowdGather has acquired a growing portfolio of special interest forums and enthusiastic message board communities through domain name purchases.
